These 'elves' were entertaining just before Christmas in a Street Fayre a couple of years ago. I didn't see them last year, but who knows, they might appear this year. They were very funny and talented, and the chap on the left did another act on a previous day which was one of the funniest things I had seen for ages. Part of it was to mimic passers by without their knowledge and there must have been dozens of people in Bury who passed by, totally unaware of the fact they had provided some amusement that day. None of it was unkind I do have to add.
At one point whilst entertaining the children, the performers held out a tin of Quality Street for the children to take one. They then teased the children for some minutes before presenting the open tin for them to take one. The tin actually contained brussel sprouts. The children were happy to take one - not a hint. of disappointment. It just goes to show that children don't measure achievement in the same way as adults often suppose.
